Dell Inspiron E1505 PC Notebook —

I have had my Dell Inspiron E1505 for about three years now and overall have had only minor problems with it.  I am on the computer daily for work, school, networking and gaming so my notebook gets exessive use.  I also haul it with me everyday to work and school and was concerned that the wear and tear may leave me having to purchase an new notebook evry year so I purchased the extended service plan and am happy to say that I have never had to use it.  That being said there are some issues that I do wish Dell would address.  One of the most minor of those issues is how easily the exterior scratches and scuffs.  I got every acessory to help with non scuffing and even chose a silvernotebook, and within a month it looked like it had been in a war.  Of couse you can't just replace any of the faceplates, you have to live with it.  Just a few days after the one year warranty was up the battery went.  I am now on my fourth and of couse they cost about $70 each.  The keys on the keyboard kept falling off about 18 months into owning it and I have since had to replace the keyboard.  And just this week I am on my third power cord with is also about $70.  All and all I could have bought a new laptop with what I have spent on accessories going on this one.  But as a computer it is super fast, never freezes up, has great graphics capabilites and I am overall satisfied.
