Dell Inspiron E1505 PC Notebook Review

Dell has a great reputation for being able to customize your laptop or PC to your needs.  This above all is a great feature.  I do however have issues with the way they market their computers.  The deals you see on a given week can fluctuate significantly in price but you have to look very close at the options that have changed to make the price as attractive as it may seem.  My suggestion...look at the same system from week to week when deals pop up.  compare the options on that same system and see for yourself how things change with price.  You might be surprised!

Overall the Inspiron series is a quality product.  It is for the mainstream budget conscious crowd of laptop users.  It has good overall battery life and is good for multitasking various programs for work or school.  It is not a gaming laptop by any means.  Even with some of the more expensive upgrades your performance with games in today's market will be OK at best.  They do come with DVD burners and various other options that will increase use-fullness if you can afford them.

If you need a basic laptop...or with minor upgrades you can have a nice system that will hold up to your daily use of document writing or maybe basic media and Internet use.  If you are looking for a gaming powerhouse you will have to look elsewhere.
