Dell Inspiron 600m Laptop Review

The Dell Inspiron 600m notebook computer was the best computer purchase I've ever made. I've had the computer for 6 years now and still love it. It's our everyday, all-day computer. We have it sitting in the kitchen, and I'm typing on it right now. I've never had ANY problems with it. It's never crashed, never needed any sort of repair. However, the battery died some time ago, and I have yet to replace it. So it sits as a stationary computer, but is wonderful just the same. In addition to the computer's generally wonderful wear, it was a great deal. I took the base model and added a few upgrades to memory and what-not and purchased it for about $1,000. That's pretty cheap if you consider how long and well it's lasted!! I have an HP desktop in our office that is only a little over a year and it has had TONS of issues from the get-go. I'll never buy another HP, but I'll buy another DELL. Why did we buy the HP? I ask my husband that all the time... He wanted instant gratification. Not always a good thing. So, if you're considering that instant gratification, STOP, and go with value and reliability. That HP was at the Best Buy Geek Squad for 2 months. Sad but true. That's way longer than we would've waited for the Dell to come in the mail.
