My Dell

By

from Jeffersonville, IN

Comments about Dell Inspiron 560 (Intel Celeron 450 320GB/2GB) PC Desktop:

I bought my dell 1yr ago, and I love it. Its easy to use and when I need any questions answered all i have to do is log on to the dell website and a tech will chat on line with me and help me solve it and they even can take remote control to do something that you just are not able to .. to solve any problems

It has hearing and seeing impaired abilities should you need them.. This is the best computer desktop I have ever owned or even worked on..

Love the Dell Inspirion

By

from Temple, GA

Comments about Dell Inspiron 560 (Intel Celeron 450 320GB/2GB) PC Desktop:

I absolutely love this computer. It is fast and loaded with Microsoft 7. I have absolutely no problems with this computer. The only con I would have to say is that it didn't come loaded with speakers or a webcam, but for the price it is expected. The screen is great, great quality color. Easy to download and compatable with everything. The keyboard is a little sensitive, but it's been awhile since I had a new computer.

Perfect for college!

By

from Danville, IL

Comments about Dell Inspiron 560 (Intel Celeron 450 320GB/2GB) PC Desktop:

This is a wonderful desktop computer. It is very fast and has a lot of memory and storage. It comes with a dvd rom and an expansion slot. I love Windows 7 which is the operating system. I have never used it before now but the more I get to know it, the more I like it. There is a very neat feature that Dell has included with this pc as well. It can create a restore disk either on a dvd-rom or a flash drive so that no reinstallation disk is needed. This gives me great peace of mind. It does not have any backwards-compatable kind of serial ports on the back, everything is usb for the hookups for the keyboard, mouse, and any external peripherals. That meant that I could not use my old mouse, but they are probably all being phased out anyway. Dell also gives a discount for college students, which adds to the value. Dell also gives you the option to customize hardware and software to your liking, including Microsoft office which is a must have for college and business.

We love our Dell Inspiron 560

By

from Lehi, UT

Comments about Dell Inspiron 560 (Intel Celeron 450 320GB/2GB) PC Desktop:

We have had our Dell computer for over a year now and we have loved it.  We had a relatively new HP computer previously and after having it crash 6 times in a two year period I was ready to be done and start over.  We ordered this computer and I have loved it since the beginning. It is so much quicker than our other computer and we have not had a single problem.  Everyone in my family has a Dell computer and they have all lasted.

Good Basic Computer

By

from Dorsey, IL

Comments about Dell Inspiron 560 (Intel Celeron 450 320GB/2GB) PC Desktop:

Our family purchased this computer after our previous machine died of a memory failure.  We have had it for around 3 months.  Nobody in my family uses the computer for graphic games or other "high impact" uses, and it has held up great.  I would recommend it to anyone who will use it for internet, word processing, or pictures.  Our version came with Windows 7 installed, and we really like 7 as an operating system.  If you will be using your computer for lots of games, this probably is not for you.  The cost is also low enough that you most likely can afford it, and if you already have a monitor, you will not be out much at all.  One note: every once in a while , somebody will come to use the computer when it is asleep.  Sometimes the monitor will not turn on again.  We use an Hdmi cable.  The controls are conveniently located in the front under a fold down panel, and are easy to reach.  It also has a card reader which comes in handy all the time, when I need to load pictures from my camera.

Not a hot rod but can get the job done

By

from Marina, CA

Comments about Dell Inspiron 560 (Intel Celeron 450 320GB/2GB) PC Desktop:

I was pleasently surprised by the Inspirion. Although when I bought it I knew it wasn't a hot rod with all the bells and whistles when I bought it. it does get the job done especially if you're on a tight budget. I bought the Inspirion primarily for the teenagers to do their homework, but it quickly became a family favorite from everything from FaceBook to downloading music.

The Inspirion is slower than I like but it was so easy to set up and for the teenagers to figure out how to use that it has almost been worth the slower speeds. The only real complaint I have with the Inspirion has been it's lag time in processing speed once the memory is taxed with various programs and downloads. That means I have to take the time to clean off the desktop and hard drive of unnecessary files, or progams.

The Inspirion has proven itself to be pretty durable. The teenagers in the home have given the poor thing a pretty rough time on several occassions but it's still going strong, even with some stains and dents.

If you are on a tight budget, the Inspirion would be the desktop that I would recommend.
