I've owned a couple PCs and used many PCs and laptops at work, and this is my first home-owned laptop. I love this laptop!
Mine is the pink variety, and I love the color and the finish - it's scratch and stain resistant and keeps its beauty intact. I bought it shortly after this model was introduced, and have been thrilled with it the whole 1.5 years I've had it so far. The keyboard/mousepad combination are comfortable to use, the hinge is quite sturdy, and the 17-inch screen is awesome! Overall its performance has been excellent (fast, responsive), and I have no complaints there at all.
My only minor complaint is that it takes 2 hands to lift up the top to open it, but that's not a big deal, really. If that means giving me the strong hinge that will keep the screen at exactly the angle I want no matter where I put it, then it's worth it. I have on occasion noticed the amount of heat escaping the outlet on the left, but I do tend to be on it for hours at a time, so that doesn't seem to be unusual, and it's getting all the ventilation it could possibly want. I'm not concerned about its weight as I don't plan to carry it around, so I don't remember what it weighs.
