Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop Review

My husband bought me this Dell laptop a year ago so that I wouldn't have to fight my 18 year old son for computer time.  It is the first time I have ever used Windows VISTA and I am still not convinced that I like it any better than my old  version on my PC.  I do, however, love the convenience of my Dell laptop and love being able to transport it whenever and wherever I want to use it.  I volunteer for a humanitarian organization and need access to my computer at all hours of the day and night so I can keep up my communications with people in Africa with whom I work.  It is nice to have my laptop handy even at my bedside in case I need to email or Skype in the wee hours of the night.  The only thing  I don't love about this unit is that it came with a lot of stuff downloaded on it that I don't use which seems to slow it down a bit.  I am going  to spend some serious time figuring out how to remove those programs I don't currently utilize so that I can speed things up!
