Dell Inspiron 1521 Laptop — 

I know that this review is for the computer, but when buying a computer you also have to think of if there is a problem who will be there to help.  The customer service at Dell is horrible.  I love my computer, but I will NEVER buy anything from Dell again.  The computer I ordered was not the computer I got.  I ordered it blue, it came black.  I ordered 160GB hard drive they sent me 120GB.  I ordered it with a cd/dvd burner and it came with a cd burner only.  You would think that they would fix these problems, but they just gave me the run around.  Said I didn 't order what I ordered.  Would not fix the problems and were rude.  Everytime I tried to prove my case they said it wasn't on the invoice.  I read to them the newspaper insert that I ordered from and gave them the coupon number and they told me they could look it up.  I spend in total well over 5 hours on the phone.  I did get some financial reimbursment, but more than anything I just got a headache!  In there favor there tech support is good.

I can empathise with your experience! Anyone thinking of buying from Dell should keep copies of everything. I still think you can complain to the BBB. Then watch how well they listen to you!
