I have been using my Inspiron 1501 for about two years now for my job. I use it on a daily basis around the clock. The business that I am in is 24 hours 360 days a week. I am constantly on my computer! I have no problems with the battery dying if I unplug the computer and the programs that came with the system are wonderful! I have windows Xp on the computer and I love how word and excel are set up. I had to contact the IT support at Dell 2 times and both times the reps were extremely helpful! I had to replace the keyboard because I had a couple keys pop off and the rep walked me through each step to put the keyboard in. I wasn't comfortable at first because I am not a handy person and did not want to replace it myself but I got through it with no problems. I am online constantly with my computer and never had problems with the speed of the computer online. It is very important to me that the speed of loggin onto the interet due to time sensitivity in my business. The programs load quickly and when I first start the computer, it loads farily fast. I would say that the only thing that I'm not crazy about the computer is the mouse pad. It is very touchy and sometimes I plug in a mouse and disable the mouse pad all together. That is not a problem with me though because I am usually at a table or desk using my computer so I can plug in a mouse to make it easier for me!
