I find the user interface to be very difficult to navigate around. I do consider myself to be in the lower eschelons of computer users out there however. I did not get a chance to check out the internet on this computer because it was very difficult for me to figure out how to turn on the wireless internet.... read full review »

I have owned my Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop for several years now and have found it to be a good laptop. My laptop was a gift purchased by a lvoed one who isn't as computer savvy as I am, so they didn't choose the higher end settings that I should have. Even with this, the laptop has been great for checking my email, web searches, lower end games, Microsoft Office software and some of my work software. Overall, this laptop is a good laptop for a beginner to intermediate computer user.

I am just doing some research on laptops. Just trying to find one best for me. I am looking to buy one soon. I am wanting a laptop for me so i will be able to have microsoft software so i awil be able to do my school work at home. I have recently just downloaded the free Microsoft trial verison because I was taking a computer class which i had to have Microsoft 200 software. Right notw my computer is not working so I am needing soemthing to do my school work.

The dell inspiron 1100 isnt a tech marvel but it's pretty decent

The Dell inspiron 1100 is'nt for the high end gamer's or the multitasker's out there, yet it seems to run reasonably fast for its age, I would suggest the inspiron 1100 for anyone who is a casual pc user or an email junky. One major downfall is that it seem's to overheat if you run to many programs at once, but that can be avoided with some effort.

this seems like an ok computer, my mother has one kinda like this and it seems to work fine. i would like to see if this has any bugs or flaws in it before buying tho. Some people seem to hide anything wrong with a laptop to make you buy it. I would have to try it for myself but to me, this laptop doesnt seem that bad.

I've always been a Dell Fan. Their products are well designed, tested and easy to use. This one is no exception.

Configured to your needs, this could be ready to meet your requirements. I have faced no problems so far. If I will, I am sure that Dell customer service would make it easy to resolve it.

The computer itself is good, but the price was great! The picture quality is just amazingly clear. I reccomend it to anyone who knows their tech stuff. I am a daily PC user and having this laptop for a change is quiet beautiful. Its a fast computer when online browsing or just listening to music.

i like the style of it and the options it comes with. i like the color. The weight seems very light, the screen size is too my liking.I like the style of it very much. I could easily carry it any where i go and recharge it most anywhere.I would buy it.

This is a great system. I have had this laptop for over 4 years and have not needed to upgrade it. It was definately worth the money I paid for it.
