This was the first time for my husband and I to make a large purchase via the internet.  I have not been disappointed at all with our Dell computer.  The basic package included the tower, keyboard, mouse, very basic software, CD-Rom etc.  We upgraded quite a few things: got a 17 inch flatscreen, an extra CD drive, speakers, additional RAM, and the newest Microsoft Office version including Publisher.  It did up the price several hundred dollars; but I can honestly say after pricing this same type of computer at various local stores, we easily saved $500+ by ordering Dell.  It is very easy to...

Great computer system that I would recommend to everyone.  So simple to operate this computer that even my 2 kids ages 11 and 14 can use this.

The price through Dell.com is very reasonable and as we all know dell has excellent warraties and excellcent customer service.

This dell system comes complete with everything you need. The instructions are simple to understand and that makes setting up this system very simple and easy. 

There are numerous places to plug in your USB equipment so you can add on different types of hardware.

I have had a Dell Dimension E521 Desktop Computer for about 3 years now and i love it. I have never had a technical problem and i have never had problems will Dell either. I bought for use as a gaming computer and upgraded the sound card and video card and now i have a reliable and cheap gaming computer. Around $450 which is cheap considering that gaming computers run anywhere from $500-$1500 so I think I got a pretty good deal. This DELL Dimension E521 Desktop Computer is something you want to stay away from. In fact, all DELL Desktop Computers are something to be weary of. My experience is with faulty products from DVD drives, to floppy drive, to monitor, and their support is the worst. I know more than their Bombay, India, Tech can tell me about. Besides if you think you can upgrade the RAM with a stick from anywhere else that could cost you less is in error. DELL makes the RAM ports with two knotches in the plastic that prevents any other stick from fitting or incapable of being used. The sales personnel is no better....

I am reviewing my dell dimension E521 desktop computer.  It is a great computer and it was a really wonderful price.  It cost under seven hundred dollars.  I think my daughter will be able to use this computer very easily once she gets to be a little older.  I have always loved Dell computers and that is why I bought this one aside from the price.  I love the ability to give everyone in the house their own user log in.  The windows vista program is easier to use than I thought it would be.  It is very easy to download all of our pictures and to share them by emailing them or sending them...

I like the computer over all just a few quirks that I would change. Customer service is slow in getting in contact with them. However, the things that havent been up to snuff havent been major items as of yet. I can pretty well surf and it does have the speed to go faster then my other Dell. So overall I'm happy with it
