Dell Dimension E521 Desktop Computer —
I purchased the Dell Dimension E521 Desktop Computer when my old eMachine gave out in April 2007. I got all the standard customizations that didn't increase the price, which included a 1280x1024 monitor, for $543 including tax and shipping.I've had this computer for a year and 4 months now and am still very happy with it. It hasn't slowed down yet as many computers do over time with use, but I am also very careful about limiting downloads and installation of software (only programs I am sure I need). It came with some trial software, which I have uninstalled.
I'm on this computer almost 24/7: business email, administrative tasks, word processing, accounting, building ecommerce sites, web design, graphics, blogging, etc. All in all, it's a great computer for home and/or business use.
