I got a Dimension E521 for Christmas 2007.  This computer is so much better than the one that it replaced!  I have Vista and really like the operating system.  My desktop came with a 20 inch flat panel monitor.  I've really gotten used to this monitor.  Smaller monitors are harder to use.
