Dell computers are reliable, inexpensive and easy to use.
Buying a dell on line is easy and they deliver your product
quickly. Set up is very quick and very easy. Plug and play

Has been basically a good computer but when I ran into trouble after a year and a hlf local service providers basically told me to give it up and get a new computer as servicing Dell computers is too much of a hassle!  Adding memory is no biggie but is limited.  God for bid if you want to up grade... read full review »

Easy to use and reliable, but should it go down on you. . .
a PC User, pc-user, always online, a techie, paying cash, on a budget, an aggressive saver, saving a little

This is a nice computer, but all in all I would pay the extra at the moment to keep Windows XP as Vista is still to buggy and the system is only as solid as the software it runs. I got Vista on mine when I got it and when I crashed it was a pain to get anything serviced so as I am in the networking business I ended up doing it myself and put XP on it and it has been running like a champ ever since.

Dell, to me is easy to use, but.....

I started using this computer about eight months ago.  I did the mistake and learn bit.  Then my niece helped me a little, but she was too fast for me (she's 23 years old and doesn't have time to teach old auntie about computers).  Then my nephew (ten years old), came to visit me and lo and behold he was all into helping auntie out.  Then I couldn't get him off the computer.  Good thing he only came for a week.  It took me awhile to get through my e-mail.  I decided to go to a class at the library.  It was good, but I am so slow at this and I was frustrated when I couldn't do certain things,...

This isn't the best of the best, but it's not bad. System runs well and the storage/memory you get with the basic isn't too shabby. All-in-all, I'm pleased with the performance of this PC. The downfall is getting it serviced. If it ever needs major repairs, you gotta send it back or find a speciality store. Good luck.

I had my Dell for 7 years I've had no problem to recently.Some one fixed it but he couldn't find the part for it.It's working but I don't know for how long.Since it recently went down It's been freezer up,but they told it might of damaged some other stuff.

I have had my Dell PC  for about 4 years now and I have had nothing but trouble from it. I would tell everyone I know not to but Dell products. You can't even get help from customer service. I have had my computer worked on several times and it gets costly.
