I have a 4 yr. old autistic daughter who is OBSESSED with computers, video screens, etc.  Now that she's in school, she's been using the Starfall.com website quite a bit, and she would literally steal my laptop out from under me (while I was using it!!) and try to play.  I got sick of fighting for my own laptop, so I decided that I'd look for an inexpensive laptop that could hold up to her somewhat rough style of use.

I have a Dell E521 Dimension Desktop computer that I got in November of 2006. I had a Dell before this computer and I really just wanted to upgrade a bit. I gave my brother my old Dell when I got this one.

It was fairly easy to set up this Dell, it probably only too me about 20 minutes or so. Most of that time was spent taking the computer out of the box that it had arrived in and just a few minutes was spent plugging in cables and cords. I was actually surprised at how eay it was to set up. It probably helped that I had allready had a Dell PC.

 Last weekend we were looking for a printer and saw an ad circular in our Sunday paper for Dell.  It gave a "sale" price and a "regular" price.  Then I saw another ad in the Sunday's Parade magazine and saw the saw printer.  It had a different "sale" price and different "regular" price.

 Then I went to the Dell website and found the same printer with a different "sale" price and a different "starting" price.

Dell customer service is awesome.  Called them for service on my Dell  computer and even though that my computer didn't have a sevice plan, they still forward me to a gentleman that helped me download the drivers for my computer.  He even signed on to my computer remotely and helped me install the drivers to my computer.

I have a Dell Dimension 2350 and I have never liked it.  I only bought it because of the price and I thought that Dell had a good name.

Well, I should have paid attention to when my one year was up....it is my fault that I did not report my computer "going on the blink" when I suspected it.  It freezes up and it takes forever for it to start.  There is a blue screen that comes up and I have to restart my computer, losing all information.  The programs don't always work like they should or else my computer loses all memory of the program being installed and I have to do it all over again!

I have purchased a Dell 2400 dimension desktop, a Dell 4600 dimension desktop , and a

Dell inspiron B130, and my recent purchase has been a Dell XPS 420 . of course they all

have had extras added on . All but One are stilling running like new. The one that we had

quit on us is the Dell 4600 dimension desktop which got hit by lighting and fried the mother

I have a Dell Inspiron 1720 and I just love it.  It has a built in wireless card and had windows vista on it. It works so fast and I always get to talk to "real people" when I have called them to ask questions.  I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a new computer.

I shopped around for the best deal on a computer that had the features that I was looking for. The computer I ended up choosing was a Dell XPS 430 desktop. I am so happy with this computer.
