Dell Computers Review

I received Dell's Inspiron 1520 for my birthday in November 2007. The selling feature was that it was offered in colors.  Mine is pink and I love it.  It doesn't shout out "corporate office" but it does everything that I need it for - sharing pictures and videos, internet surfing and email.  Downloading my pictures from my digital camera is simply a matter of popping in my SD card into a convienient slot on the side.  It is right next to the CD drive.    Watching videos is clear and efficient. 

One area that is a "con" is that the volume and light display control buttons is in the front.  This placement caused much confusion in the beginning because users would accidentally hit the buttons and turn off lights and/or volume.
