Dell 926 All in One

Dell 926 All in One Reviews

Dell 926 All in One Review Summary

It is very handy to have a printer that is multi- functional, and one printer that fits the bill is the Dell 926 All in One Printer, a desktop device that can be used for scanning, printing, copying, and faxing. Dell 926 All in One performs all of these functions, but it doesn’t necessarily do so efficiently and reviewers are mixed in their overall opinions. Dell 926 All in One is “Very Easy to Set Up and Very User Friendly” in the mind of one reviewer, while another one points out that the Dell 926 All in One Printer is “Not Economical- Ink Cost and Usage are Outlandish”. Dell 926 All in One Printer prints well and prints quickly, but it also uses up ink very quickly; scanning quality is questionable; and replacement ink cartridges have to be purchased through Dell. It’s a mixed bag with the Dell 926 All in One Printer, and consumers would be wise to check out other Printer Reviews before making a final buying decision.

This Dell printer /copier/ scanner is the best one I have ever  owned and it uses a little more ink then others I have owned but the out come of the pictures I print off its worth the extra ink. I love the choices it gives you and it scans fast and prints fast.. It keeps a good handle on… read full review »

I own a Dell 946 AIO, which is just a step up from the 926 - comes with an automatic document feeder and I think that's about the only difference.  In six months, I have run through 5 black ink cartridges and am on my 3rd color cartridge.  Each cartridge averages about 200 pages (and… read full review »

This printer (or the user manual that accompanies the printer) is not extremely user friendly.   For example, the display screen presents error codes with no description.  The user's manual does not describe the error message and there are no listed steps to take to rectify the situation.  When attempting to troubleshoot, errors are still unable to be resolved.  To improve the quality and user-friendliness of this product, I would recommend a description of the error that is occurring, rather than a simple code.  If a code must be used, then… read full review »

My Dell 4-in-one came with my new computer as part of a total package.  I like the 4-in-one very much and would love to be able to use its features more freely.  However, using it as a printer or copier is ridiculous because of the prohibitive cost of the printer cartridges -- you can't refill them, and generic substitutes won't work.  There must be a chip or something in the cartridges so that if you remove one to try refilling or replacing it with anything other than an authentic Dell cartridge the unit refuses to function.  BUT (and this is what disturbs me no end)… read full review »

I bought this 926 All-In-One Photo Printer when we bought a new computer. The price was originally $99 but with instant rebate I got it for $39, so I was very happy with that. It is very easy to use. Set up was very simple and it took a very short time to learn how to scan and print. I am very happy with the unit, and if I ever had to replace it I would definitely get another Dell. — The quality of the scans is great, especially at 300dpi. I prefer quality scans and quality printed photos. And I definitely get that with the Dell 926. —… read full review »

I have gone through 2 of these printers. The one I have still hiccups. But a good bang for the buck. I do hope to upgrade. I print more than the average person. I love how it scans and how quick you can get around the programs. Also, the software is awesome. If I spent a little more and upgraded, I probably will be more positive about it. I print alot of letters, my wife prints the letters on her Epson and I will print the… read full review »

This printer was bought for my daughter to take a way to college.  It has filled the bill in every way needed.  It stands up to constant use and is a dependable and reliable machine.  It is compact and has all the functions that she needs such as fax, copy scan and print.  The usage is very resonable and the service level has been exemplary.  I would recommend this printer to anyone who needed… read full review »

The experience I've had with Dell All in One printer had not been good. I had to return it 3 time for the same problem, It uses a lot of ink which is very expensive.  The scanning is very poor.  Dell does give good service and I love my Dell computer, but I will never buy another All in One Printer from them it's just now worth the… read full review »

This printer absolutely drinks ink. It seemed great at first -- nice, quick, crisp copies. But it seems like every time I turn around, one or both of the ink tanks needs replacing. Not only that - but they are outlandishly expensive, even compared to other printers' ink refills. This printer is just not worth the cost incurred by continually replacing the ink… read full review »

I have found the scanning and copying features of this printer to be great, as well as the print quality.  It has ports, on the front, for your camera card or wire, which makes transferring photos a snap!  It's quick and easy.  It DOES seem to use alot of ink though, especially if you print alot of photos. —… read full review »
