This was a gift from my parents for school and it works for a lot of things. I can have a ton of programs running at the same time and easily move from one to the other without any issues.

What a wonderful Christmas gift! I received this as a gift for Christmas from my husband. He could have kept this for himself as he had won it at the Christmas Party for the company he works for, but he didn't and I am glad he didn't! This laptop computer is easy to work with. It is very durable, yet still lightweight. I love using it while sitting in my bed in the evening just before I go to sleep. I do this by placing it on a flat surface board that has a slick coating of paint applied to it, making it easy to use a usb mouse. The computer is very, very fast. I can gets lots more done and quicker on this computer than on other computers I have had or still have. I would recommend this laptop to those who would desire to read any online e-books. The screen is quite easy on the eyes and easy to see even in very low light. The time that it takes to start up and to shut down is super quick! Purchase one for yourself and you will see!

There are absolutely no complaints about this Dell 17.3 inch laptop. It comes standard with so many features like an Intel i7 processor, and that large 17.3 inch screen. I contacted customer support via Dell's website and chatted online with a support technician. He immediately identified the problem and set up a time and date for an appointment. In no time flat my laptop was fixed and running as new. They didn't give up until the problem was 100% taken care of. Speed/Performance Dell uses the best and highest quality components in all of its machines, so you can be sure that when you purchase one you will have the top performing brand available today. I think it's a fine product and it does what I need it too. The memory is amazing and stores all of my pictures plus more. Ease of Use For someone who is not very computer savvy, this is a fairly easy product to use and find what I need to. I honestly just use the start button and search bar to find what I need to. Battery Life My computer is older for the battery life has started to fade. When I first got the laptop, the battery life was amazing. It didn't need to be charged for quite a bit of time. Support & Service The support and service has been just fine. I haven't really had any complaints against them. Speed/Performance The speed of this computer is adequate and I feel the performance is acceptable. Design The design is very simple, but professional looking. The simplistic logo on the back of the black finish let's me know what the product is without being to obnoxious about it. Durability Defiantly durable. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped my laptop and it's still worked. I even stepped on it once.

Overall my fiancé and I have been having many issues with Dell as a whole. Over the last year Chappy and I have gone through three brand new dell laptops. The first one stopped working after three months because of a motherboard issue. Dell support was great and quickly shipped us out a new laptop to replace the broken one. This one too only lasted a few months though. Again it had some hard drive and motherboard issues. This time Dell sent us out an upgraded version of out laptop, the Dell Inspiron. This computer did last a little bit longer but now within a year it too has stopped working. I would not recommend this laptop or any Dell laptop to anyone. Ease of Use The product was easy to use, when it was working. Battery Life This laptop had average battery life. Support & Service Dell had great customer service and continued to give us new computers. None of them worked though. Speed/Performance Our laptops kept braking. Design It is not a very sleek design Durability I cannot comment on the Durability because I never had the laptop long enough.

I got this computer for college and it's still holding up great. the processor is lightening fast and the ram is capable at running all of my programs at once. I dont know when i'll need to purchase a new computer but i will definitely revisit the idea of a new dell product. quiet and easy to use in classroom setting while also being fast enough to process notes. no problems running powerpoint or paying videos with friends. i find that sometimes when you try to show someone a video there is a lag or it takes time to buffer wasting the other persons time and make them less interested in what you are showing them, which ruins the whole experience. this computer, after years of use, has no lag in the video player system. which is great. many of the visual entertainment platforms are moving to the computer screen and i dont even pay for cable now since i have an hdmi cord to hook up to my tv screen. the best alternative for monthly savings. skype runs well

This laptop is a great size. Screen is large and has amazing color/graphics. Would be great for gaming or just for every day use. Compared to more expensive laptops, I'd have to say this one is just as good and half of the price. Ease of Use Systems that come on this computer are very simple to figure out and manage. Comes with the latest technology from Windows. Battery Life Rarely ever needs a charge. Will charge quickly. If charged for one hour, battery usually does not run low for several hours. Has a power saving mode which will dim the screen to save on battery and extend the time before needing to be recharged. Support & Service Employees at Dell are almost always available and are very helpful and knowledgeable. Also have several places online to get in touch with Dell support, or even through email. Speed/Performance Very quick speed. Design When laptop is shut, the entire computer is very slim. When open, the screen is large and keyboard easy to use and clean. Durability Have never had any issues with keyboard or screen, even when being dropped.

I know Apple has all the hype these days, from phones, to tablets, to laptops. But I have grown up with Dell computers in my house and they're really the only computer I totally trust. Right before leaving for college my parents got me a Dell Inspiron, with the 17" screen. I fell in love with it right away, and am still amazed by it's easy to use interface. What makes this computer even better, is that I've had it for going on 2 years, and it still runs as smoothly and quickly as the day I first powered it up. Ease of Use I feel gawky and awkward using any other computer. My Inspiron has spoiled me and I've grown accustomed to how simple it is to navigate this laptop. I highly recommend this computer is you are someone who runs at a high speed and expects your electronic devices to do the same. Battery Life I hate to say anything bad about this computer, but the battery life isn't anything to brag about. The power drains down pretty quickly, especially if you're watching videos or doing anything big like that. It's a great computer for doing little work on, an will definitely last as long as you need it to. My only suggestion is to stay by a charger if you are using webchat or any video services. Speed/Performance Speedy perfection! Durability I have dropped this baby a couple times and it is holding up just fine.

I love this laptop. I've had it for two years now and haven't had any problems yet, I love how wide it is compared to other laptops. The picture resolution is nice. The battery life though is not so good I always have to keep it plugged in otherwise it dies pretty quick.

This laptop was everything I needed. It was pretty fast when I got it, but did slow down over time. It did have a lot of great features. It's very bulky. I think this laptop is okay. Ease of Use Very easy to use. Controls were easy to figure out and the gestures are easy to remember. Battery Life This has an okay battery life. It came to the point where it had to be plugged all the time very quickly. Support & Service I didn't need to use any support services, but knowing Dell, I'm sure it is great. Speed/Performance The speed is okay. It does take a while to boot up, though. Design I like the design. It is a little bulky, though. Durability It was pretty durable. It holds up to some minor drops.
