Def Leppard - Hysteria —
Guilty pleasure? I don't think so. Sure, your friends may tease you for loving this decidedly earnest pop metal feast, but enjoying this classic is its own revenge. Tunes like Rocket, Pour Some Sugar on Me, the title track, and Love Bites are immediately accessible, and further listens don't diminish the fun. Rocket still gives me goose bumps, and its savvy 1970s glam music references show that Def realize that they didn't just appear on the scene with no precedent. Or maybe I like it because I'm a space enthusiast.
