Another As Seen On TV rip. It's easier just to buy more fruit.

Debbie Meyer Green Bags —

I never have any luck with As Seen on TV items. These Green Bags are supposed to keep fruit and salads fresher than leaving them out or in a zip close bag.

First of all, they are small. Secondly, the bananas lasted maybe a day longer. Third, and the most frustrating: there's lots of maintenance involved in using these stupid bags!

They may make the ethylene gas go away, but they trap moisture in there. Every day I had to do "fruit upkeep." Get out paper towels, remove the fruit and wipe out the inside of the bags to rid them of moisture, fruit goes back in. Next day, same thing.

No rotting from ethylene gas, they rot from mold instead. If I got paid hourly for my fruit upkeep, I'd probably give myself more wages than it would cost to replace rotten fruit.

These things make more trouble than they are worth. Pass on these.

I can't believe you have to go through all that trouble!
