Dead Like Me Reviews

Mandy Patinkin drew me in but the whole cast collection made me come back for the rest.  Rented the entire 2 Seasons on DVD, watched them back to back and laughed.  Enjoyable release from normal life, gives thoughts to ponder on, things to consider,  the after life and how it is all connected.  Too bad they didn't come back after the 2 seasons, I would have watched them all.

Not intended for younger aduiences, the language is bad in evey episode, but it was made for Showtime so they can do that.

I caught a glimpse of this entertaining movie, Dead Like ME,  one day while cleaning my living room. My two teenage sons had their heads glued to the television. I ask what they were watching. They told me about it and I took a few minuets to watch. Needless to say, my house did not get cleaned up that day. There was a marathon from daylight till midnight. I absolutely loved it!!! I did not know it was a regular on Showtime, nor did I know there was a DVD set. I know what I want for my birthday in July.

Bought And Enjoyed The Black Humor. Should Not Have Been Cancelled.

Yeah!! Sci Fi Channel plans to run these old episodes again soon.  The DVD sets of both seasons of this endearing show would make a great gift for the person who loves amusing characters and unusual situations.  Read the episode guides found on the DVD boxes.  I can not begin to adequately discribe the appeal of these characters who, though dead aren't really "dead", have the job of being Reapers.   I love to watch this show when I think life is too hard and I need a fun pick me up. 

Dead like me is an amazing show!  Funny and witty I just can't get enough of it.  The characters are so fun to watch and the plot is unlike anything I have ever seen before.  Right now my husband and I are finishing the second season and I am more upset to know there is not a third season to keep my going.  This is a great adult comedy and a must see. 

Dead Like Me, as a whole is a very entertaining and great show.
I was a huge fan of the first two seasons and it was quite sad when they
decided to end its run a year or so ago. A great show that not allot of people
got into, but if your into dark comedy with a great script you will love this show.

My brother first got me to watch this show when it was in its first season on tv.  I fell in love with it and the characters from the beginning.  The acting was great, and the storylines were always inventive.  I hate that it only lasted two seasons, but was excited when the movie finally came out this year after a lot of rumors and talk about it.  I was also pleased with the movie, as it gave closure to the show that just seemed to end out of nowhere.  Sadly, there probably won't be another movie and the show will not be renewed, but I enjoyed it while it lasted.  I hope to see Ellen Muth...

I never got to watch Dead Like Me when it was actually on the air. I happen to be flipping through the channels on day and ran into a rerun. Now I find myself searching the channels looking for more reruns. Dead Like Me is dark, but very entertaining. It has a different look to the afterlife and is at times quite funny. I also love the look of the show.

I watched this show from the beginning - Love Mandy Patinkin.  I really liked each character and was so looking forward to more seasons but was disappointed with the decision to end and I don't fully understand why.  It was such good entertainment and I truly miss it.

This tongue-in-cheek show stretches the imagination and tickles my warped sense of humor, much in the way that "Six feet under" did in a lighter manner. great cast and fun look at dying and those left behind. Only 2 seasons-wishing there were more!

I liked this show so much I got the second season and have to get the first season. The characters are realistic and come from different walks of life which made the show intesting. I was really sad when it ended.

Dead Like Me was one of the funniest shows.  I love Mandy Patinkin - what an actor.  Canceled way too soon!  I would have loved to see more of Geogia's life as a reaper!
