I sell tools for a living. Having tried many different brands of cordless (battery Operated) Drill/Drivers, the DeWalt Brand is the Only one I would buy for myself.  When choosing a  size (9V, 14V 18V, etc) the 18V is the one I prefer. It has the right amount of power to do anything you would want to do.  One of the Special features of th DeWalt XRP series is the three speed Transmission. One Speed for Drilling, one for driving, and one with enough torwue to break 5/16" lag screws without any problems.  What I mean about the Lag screw is you don't have… read full review »

The DeWalt 18v cordless drill is my favorite tool, so much so that I keep it in my kitchen rather than with the rest of my tools.  With the option to be a cordless drill or regular/Phillips head screwdrive, I find that I use it several times a week for all kinds of little tasks (tightening a door handle, hanging a picture on the wall, installing curtain rods, whatever).  This drill is extremely easy to use and with the reversible feature only a click away, hand tools can't even compare.  I've given my corded drill away since it was simply a hassle to just plug it in.  With… read full review »

The 18 volt DeWalt is the best!!!!  It is a seriously dependable and solid tool.  I have convinced several of my friends to purchase this cordless drill.  I have had this model for almost three years. The key is to keep the batteries charged and don't run them all the way down.  My biggest regret is that it won't die!!!  I would like to buy a new DeWalt drill.  I love all the DeWalt… read full review »

I've had my DeWalt cordless drill for almost 5 years and have never had a problem. It's powerful enough to handle all do-it-yourself jobs. I've also used this same drill for technical theater projects in constructing sets. DeWalt is a known and relaible brand. Tip: always have a second battery charged and ready if you wan to work all… read full review »

It's not the least expensive tool out there, but it will last forever and is great for small and big jobs. It has a lot of different attachments you can buy, even a car buffer. It is light weight and can take a beating without falling apart. The battery lasts a long time too, so no stopping to… read full review »

This drill is rugged and dependable. It has many torque settings as well as drill mode.  I love all Dewalt products because how they are built!  I've had mine for several years and think it is the best.  I have since bought many more coordless tools from Dewalt. … read full review »
