DeLonghi Heater - Oil Heater - Radiator Review

We were looking for a way to help cut costs with the rising price of our winter gas bill, but have had several electric heaters of inferior quality.  After a bit of research, we decided to try out an oil-filled radiator.  Wow!  What a great purchase.  This heater is perfect for our home.  We keep one in the living room and one in our bedroom.  The thin profile allows it to sit easily in almost any space.  The air coming out the top is nice and hot, but the sides stay cool enough that it is safe around our pets.  Our cat even snuggles up next to it sometimes, keeping herself nice and toasty! 

 It is a perfect tool for the energy conscious with the 24 hour programmable thermostat.  You can make it turn on or off at certain hours of the day.  Instead of coming home to a cold house and turning on the heater, you can set it to start warming up the room prior to your arrival.  It does heat up nice and quickly, so there is a fair amount of instant gratification when you turn it on.  The unit is extremely quiet, although sometimes there will be a little bubble or popping noise due to the oil inside. 

 All around this is a fantastic heater, and using it has allowed us to turn down our gas furnace and we have saved $100 a month this winter compared to our gas bill last winter.  I would recommend it wholeheartedly!
