This is the second Delonghi model I have had, when the first model - conventional, not convection oven - blew out from years of use and abuse (!) For the second time around I decided to go for a convection oven, and it is a god-send for those extra crispy baked meats and dessert goods, but the construction does leave something more to be desired. First of all, compared to my previous, even less fully equipped model that was made in Italy, this new model is Made in China from much thinner, flimsier material. Since so far it's served its various purposes, I have no complaints other than to count down to the days when the flimsy construction burns out, a fuse blow or what not and Delonghi's product failure compels me buy Delonghi #3 for the household again:P The design is also on the dangerous side for very young or old (shaky hands, etc?) users: the flimsy construction means a very SHALLOW grooves on the sides into which you slide your metal racks and trays/cookie sheets, and they tend to make the baking apparatus TILT at an ANGLE that causes spillage or burn accidents on the SLIDE-OUT. Use at extreme caution.

I've had this DeLonghi Convection Oven for about a year now, and I couldn't be happier with it. I have always preferred toaster ovens over slice toasters, for the wide range of things that you can do with them. I love that I can re-cook my leftovers, and they get that nice crispy, "fresh-out-of-the-oven" taste that you cannot get with a microwave! I own many products made by DeLonghi, and have never been dissapointed by them at all. DeLonghi is a brand that I trust, and their products have always delivered. This toaster oven is easy to use, and has lots of differente temperatures and settings, so you can customize your toasting experience each time, to ensure that you get the best tasting food that you can. I highly recommend the DeLonghi EO1279 toaster oven!

I like to cook alot so i thought that i should buy a smaller oven to use in addition to my main large oven. This smaller convection oven comes in handy during the holidays because i can cook a lot more food in the same amount of time. When the main oven is full of food, i can always turn to this oven. The oven is heavy to lift, so i usually have my husband or one of my teen sons carry it since i have a bad back. The interior of the oven is very spacious and i can fit different sized dishes in it easily. The right side of the oven has all the dials and settings so that my food can be made to my liking. The sides of the oven get burning hot when it is on, so it is important to keep your hands away until you know that it is cool. Opening the oven door is easy to do and the handle is easy to grasp. The food is always well made because the oven distributes the heat evenly so the food is evenly cooked all around. The unit is pretty bulky too.

The DeLonghi Model EO1270 Convection Oven is a good Convection Oven that serves it purpose that it is intended for. I purchased this product and I have not had any serious problems with this product so far. I love the design of this convection oven and all the knobs and settings are still in working condition. My old convection oven had to be repaired several times. I knew it was time to purchase a new oven when my old oven started to consistently burn everything that I placed into the oven and I could not prevent it. I would have to continuously monitor the  oven whenever I placed anything into it in an effort to prevent it from being burnt and then I could not eat it. This product from DeLonghi is a lifesaver as my food does not need constant supervision and It prepares my food for me rather quickly. I always tell my friends about this great little convection oven. This is the first product that I have purchased from DeLonghi and I look forward to other products in the future from them.

I ran into this one at one of local retailers and decided to replace this one with thesame brand which I've been used for years. Overall speaking, I'm quite satisfied with theprevious one so I have faith in the quality. It looks fine, large enough to make a pizza for my family.I'm quite satified with its outer look with simple but elegant features. Most of the materialsis metal, from the outside to the inside. The dials swith smoothly between functions, the foodcan be toated in a short amount of time. rotisserie feature is quite useful to me.But i have some problems with it: you have to pushall three button to activate the oven. The interior is quite difficult to clean after usingit for a long time and it has no design for it. you have to be very careful using it oryou will get your hands burned, once I nearly got a scar with this machine. I think they should haveprecautionary design for that.

The DeLonghi EO 1270 convection oven is a nice looking unit which has intuitive controls.  However, unless you have a separate timer to alert you when the baking is done you will end up with burnt meals.  The toast function is timed, but nothing else is.  The unit is well made but I would say that the shelves are a bit flimsy.  Heavy casseroles tend to warp the shelve and can make for difficult removal of the dish once it is cooked.  The fan bake option (convection) does work well and saves energy by cooking 20-50% faster than a conventional oven.  In addition, you are not heating a huge space for just one dish.  I would not highly reccomend this unit as DeLonghi has other convection ovens that have built in timers for baking which cost only slightly more than this one.  Those units also contain a rotisserie which can accomodate a small chicken (~4lbs).
