I bought a bottle of Davidoff cool water because it smelled amazing. When I put it on it had a very nice scent but an hour later the scent was gone. I wasn't too thrilled about that because on a night out I want something where the scent will last the entire night and Davidoff only lasted an hour.

I bought the Davidoff coolwater for Men after trying the Davidoff cool water for women. I bought this perfume as a gift for my husband for the valentines day. He loves this perfume and its been four years since we both started using ours and we never get bored of the Davidoff's cool water perfume. It is a cool perfume and the fragrance is very subtle and not too strong and it still lasts for the whole day. My husband always appreciate me for getting him this gift and he says that this is one of the best gift that i ever gave him. When you are wearing this perfume, you can expect atleast one person to come and tell you that they like your perfume and they will want to know what perfume we are wearing. This perfume is great for the gifts to friends and family members. Davidoff perfumes are little expensive but it is worh every penny.

Cool Water is one of the best-smelling colognes out there. The only reason I only gave it a 3/5 stars is because EVERYONE knows about it and a ton of people use it. The only point of using cologne is to smell distinguished. You're not going to smell distinguished if you start smelling like every other guy on the street. Nonetheless it has a reputation for a reason. It smells great. I feel that the scent is a little mild so I suggest using it for warmer weather. In the cold weather, it'd be hard for anyone to pick up your scent, however during the summer or spring your body automatically releases its scent more readily. People say its an immature scent, and in a sense I agree but I'd prefer to say its a 'casual' scent. I wouldn't recommend wearing this to a party or an important event. Maybe wearing it on a weekend or at a job that isn't 'white collar' would suit this cologne best. And of course, best of all, its CHEAP!

Davidoff Cool Water smells so good! I would rather my husband use it than any other fragrance. It's not too strong but lasts a long time. It isn't as expensive as other "name-brand" colognes, and it's easy to find. Most Super Centers and Drug Store Chains even carry it. I was in Wal-Mart one day, pushing my way through the aisles, minding my own business, when a man walked past me and he smelled sooo good. I couldn't help myself...I literally left my shopping cart where it was and walked (almost ran) through the aisles until I got a sniff of that wonderful smell that had immediately caught my attention. I will admit that I was a little embarrased, but I just walked right up to that man and told him he smelled great and asked if he would please tell me what cologne he was wearing and where I could buy some for my husband. He was very flattered, told me thanks, and that I could purchase Davidoff Cool Water right there in that Wal-Mart Super Center. So, I thanked him, found my shopping cart, and went to find that Cool Water. He was correct, it was there in the Men's Fragrance Aisle, and I bought my husband's first pretty blue bottle of it then and there. No sense in waiting, I knew i wold regret if I did. I brought it home, and am so glad to report that my husband also liked the scent. I don't even know how to describe it except "sexy". It's awesome. When my husband's bottle gets low, I put Davidoff Cool Water at the top of my shopping list. I love it and he loves that I love it. If you are looking for a birthday, graduation, father's day...whatever occasion...gift for a guy, or just want a change for yourself or the man in your life, I suggest that you buy this cologne. I think you'll be very glad you did.

I am a very proud customer of Davidoff. They have created a real winner here as far as a male fragrance. The Davidoff Cool Water Cologne for Men is great. I wear it to work a lot and get enquiries about it all of the time. The ladies all want to know what i am wearing because they all want to buy it for their husbands or boyfriends. I like the Cool Water Cologne because it has a nice clean refreshing scent that will last all day and night. The scent is not overwhelmingly strong eithor. I have the spray bottle and i only have to use a couple of squirts to last all day and night. I don't think that Davidoff Cool Water is too expensive in my opinion. I am a man that likes quality for my money and i get it every time i buy the Davidoff Cool Water Cologne. The price most retailers have on their Cool Water Cologne is very good. There is a couple of places that charge more than they should, but i gotta say that the Cool Water is still worth the money and well worth buying. Ladies, this is a Cologne you need to buy your man for a special ocasion or just to buy it for him. He will appreciate you and thank you for it. You will probibly thank yourself for buying it for him every time he puts it on and you smell it.

This cologne seems as if it has been around forever. I can remember using it years and years ago, as a young man. I liked the smell then, and recently when I revisited it, at a much reduced price, I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the scent, and I think it smells crisp and cool, and ever so manly. However, and this is the rub, I found that I tired of it rather quickly. I am no longer a great fan of it. I think that it should be used sparingly, and alternated with other scents. Perhaps this is because it has been on the market too long, or perhaps because too many people have used this scent over the years, but I never remember thinking before this that maybe a cologne should be put out to pasture. It has had a good run, but this, like Polo sport, like drakkar noir, has reached its limit. Time to broaden your horizons and try new scents and new models. I like classics as much as anyone else, but this isn't the case here.

I would recommend this fragrance because it's a classic.  This is one of those scents that if you wore it now it would almost be retro, and therefore stylish.  I also think that it is reminisent of times past and that has a way of being very pleasant for some.  I remember putting this scent on in junior high and thinking I was the stuff.  I got a bottle of it again about a year ago as a gift and I wear it now as a casual scent with jeans or whatever, but not with formal wear or if I'm going out at night.  I'm not one of those guys that wears cologne to the gym, but if I was this one would work for that.  You can wear it as an active wear scent I suppose.  Cool Water is a cologne that is inexpensive and has a distinct smell that will surely be charming to most.  Warning, you can put too much of this cologne on, I have sevreal times, and luckily have friends that told me so.  I would recommend it and use sparingly.

I think this cologne is one of the best. It is a bit expensive, and I never see it on sale. However it does come in two sizes so you can buy the smaller one if your unsure that you'll like it. I bought this for my husband and just love the scent. I can spot it a mile away, as soon as he sprays it I can smell him. Its a very clean, fresh scent that is just manly. Its not overpowering or sweet. A little of it goes a long way. He sprays it twice when were going out and the smell lasts the entire evening. Then when I do laundry and get to the shirt he wore when wearing cool water I can still smell the cologne faintly. I have found that the bottles last a long time, espeically since you dont need much to achieve the smell. They really have a great mixture in this scent. I have never found it to stain clothing either which is a definite plus. Overall I think its the best cologne out there, the scent is perfect and it comes in a sleek bottle.

This smells wonderful.   I haven't smelled a mens cologne that has smelled this good since, gosh, I don't know when. I have never reviewed one before. It has a cool & sexy smell, but, it won't be too much. You know  how you almost pass out walking by a lot of men (and women) because of their cologne, but I accidentally put too much on my husband, and it still wasn't too strong.  He actually loves it as much as I do, so hopefully, it will be around for quite awhile. I plan on buying it for gifts for birthdays and Christmas. I don't usually like to buy men cologne, but, I don't think there's been anyone who hasn't cared for this cologne! I'll have to see if there are any bad reviews on it, but, honestly, I can't imagine that there could be. It's the first mens cologne that I have smelled in a very long time that everyone I 've talked to about it all have the same opinion.  If you haven't smelled this cologne, please do so.

In May of 1997 I came to east Tennesee to visit my parents, and not knowing that my brother was trying to "fix me up" with somebody, agreed to go have 1 beer. When I walked into this tiny pub, a man came to the bar for my order, and he smelled WONDERFUL. This was a scent I had never smelled before, and I never thought any male cologne could be more sexy than Obsession. Little did I know that a cologne smell would make me agree to go to dinner, or that this man, who helped run this little pub for his mom, would become my husband, but I can tell you that after 13 years of marriage that 1 spray of that cologne can take me back 13 years ago to one warm May night.
