David Cook was not only the winner of the 2007 American Idol he was also the best!  His versions of songs like Mariah Carey's Always Be My Baby and the classic Lennon/McCartney songs rocked the house.  I waited in anticipation for the release of his album and bought it the day it came out.  I am so thankful to say it do not disappoint!

His songs are original and really showcase the various facets of his voice.  He's an amazing singer, songwriter and performer.  The album has a nice blend of ballads and up tempo songs and there's not a one that isn't great.

I would recommend this to everyone! ...

Buy David Cook's CD! If you like rock music, that's uptempo, or a rock ballad, there are different speeds, sounds, roughness, tenderness, lonliness, whatever you feel like at the moment, David's CD has something to fit your mood.  He may have been on Idol, which some people just write off as no talent shows with ametures, but David is good quality, experienced, and a good entertainer.  The favorites on this album are Permanent, Light On, and Time of My life.
