WildAid - Eco and Animal Friendly Hair Products

4

I always love trying out eco friendly products, I am trying to switch over as much of the products we use, as we can. I really loved this shampoo. It smelled great and left my hair feeling clean but still with a lot a body. It made my hair so soft and I didn't need a lot of conditoners at all. Another great thing I noticed about all these products was that they smelled great! The smells weren't at all overwhelming but left a great scent all day. These were all great products that exceeded my expectations and for a great cause.

Too much moisture!

1

As someone who has curly hair, I never thought I would say that this shampoo would be too moisturzing.  I really wanted to like this shampoo, the sea spray is wonderful on my hair! Sadly, as much as I wanted to like this shampoo, it has a great cause and is all natural! The fact that the procedes of this product go to such a good cause like WildAid is so good, but sadly this doesn's change the fact that this shampoo is not for me at all. This smell is wonderful and the packaging looks nice in my shower. Sadly, after just one wash my hair felt stringy and gross and way too moisturized. I kept using it and thought that it would get better, but it did not. I did not enjoy this product at all, sadly. This is one of the only products that I've ever returned, it was just that horrible to me. I really wanted to like the David Babaii for Wild Aid products, and I do like one, but sadly it's not this shampoo.

Decent for a drugstore SLS-free shampoo

For those who like to look through shampoo ingredients before purchasing, I'd definitely recommend you check out David Babaii's Hydrating Shampoo. It smells fresh and lathers up significantly more than other SLS/ALS-free shampoos, though the fact that it lathers may concern some of our beauty chemists who know that lather is a sign of a strong surfactant - which will strip your hair of oils. However, the fact that it is SLS/ALS-free makes David Babaii's Hydrating Shampoo worth checking out as it is very affordable. Compared to the other SLS/ALS-free shampoos that I've tried, the David Babaii is on the cheap end of the spectrum in price and quantity. It's not difficult to get another "healthy shampoo" that works better at a slightly higher price, which I feel is totally worth the money. I use this shampoo maybe once a week combined with other SLS/ALS-free shampoos as a clarifier as it is a bit tougher on my hair. I've heard praises from many others though, so it might work better for you than it did for me.
