Dark Prince —

Dark Prince is the first novel in the Carpathian series by Christine Feehan. This book makes an excellent read for those who are paranormal, or paranormal romance, lovers. This book is the beginning of a series that tells us about an unkown race, (to most), of people who are struggling to survive as they are slowly killed off by those who see them as demons of the undead (vampires). Since most of the surviving species are male they must find thier life mate before they end up turning into the undead (vampires), or walking into the sun (they live and work at night because the sun is deadly to them), and welcoming the eternal sleep. This is an attention grabbing book that holds your attention from the beginning to the end, and it makes you want to continue reading to see what happens in the next book. Eventhough this is an excellent book series I would not recommend it in any form for very small children (possibly those under 13) because some material may not be suitable for those children.
