Darfur Now is a new documentary that follows six people in their journey to help stop the genocide in Darfur.

The people featured in the documentary:

Don Cheadle- Actor star of Hotel Rawanda and Activist and co-author of Not on Our Watch.

Adam Sterling- College Student who wrote the bill that keeps California Pensions fund money out of Sudan.

Luis Moreno-Ocampo- Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court

Pablo Recalde- Leader of the World Food Program Team in Darfur.

Hejewa Adam- Darfur woman who joined the rebels after her child was beaten to death in front of her.

Ahmed Mohammed Abakar- Darfur man, leader of the Hamadea refugee camp.

This film takes you to Darfur and shows you what life is like for the people there.  The situation in Darfur is bleak, but the citizines continue to fight and wait and hope, that help will come soon.

The film does offer a glimpse into the lives of those committed to helping.  You will be inspired by the actions of Recalde, Cheadle, Sterling, Ocampo, Clooney, and others who have decided to do something about this ongoing Genocide.

Visually powerful film.  Paints a bleak picture, but offers a ray of hope.
