Most HelpfulI used to work next to Daphne's Cafe so I would frequent their establishment about once a week. I'm vegetarian so I would always get their veggie plate with spanikopita, greek salad, rice, pita, hummus and falafel. I enjoy variety :-)
The first couple times I ate here the food was DELICIOUS. I'm a small...
review »I've always liked Daphne's for their food. Then I took my Girl Scouts there for this behind the scenes thing. It was only $3. They got a tour, some history of the Greek mythology about Daphne, a badge, a full meal, and coupons for free kids meals. Then I dida fundraiser for my son's school there. It was so awesome. They gave the school 10% of their sales for the day. No flyers required. Now they keep offering opportunities for our school like giving us tickets to Aztec football games to use as prizes and gift cards for opportunity drawings. They are really good people.
I recent had lunch at Daphne's and was disappointed in the portion size. I ordered chicken and received three tiny one inch piece of chicken and a couple wedges of bread. This was about $8. I used to frequent Daphne's more when I worked nearby and remember the serving sizes being much better. The chicken was tasty but the fries where limp and tasteless.
Roasted Red pepper hummus was extremely tasty. My husband, who is not a big fan, even enjoyed the flavor. The Gyros is as good as it gets. I lived in Detroit and ate in Greek Town and this gyros was just as good.
Thank you and keep up the good work. Claudia
