Winter proof your house the easy way

looking for value, mother, house wife, $$$ saver, keeping heat cost down, not heating the outside, a do-it-yourselfer, handy around the house

We live in an older house with some drafty windows and I cannot afford to change those at the moment. So I was looking for a simple way to seal some nooks and corners before the old man winter is upon us again.

I bought this easy caulk at the local store for under $5 and I think it has already paid itself back many times over in our heating bills for this fall.

All you do is unscrew the top and tip the application towards the edge of your windows seals or other cracks you want to seal. It is that easy!

Don't use this near warm or hot water.

This is decent product, but the manufacturer doesn't mention on the label that the calk should NEVER be put anywhere that warm or hot water might touch it. Warm water will literally disintegrate it!
