My sports bra is almost too sexy to workout in!
4 star rating

an everyday exerciser, loving trendy activewear, in need of comfort when exercising, an at home exerciser, very happy with this product, loving Danskin all over again
Pros

no uniboob, no squashing, medium impact support, sexy, racerback styling for easy movement, good for street wear alone or under, perfect fit in bra and cup sizes, comfortable

Cons
not for high intensity sports, not enough support for larger busts, you may not want a sexy sports bra

Quick View: This sports bra is almost too sexy to workout in! With padded cups and a stylish design, it looks great under hoodies, sweaters, or alone! I wear mine for street wear and exercise. It's cute but not supportive enough for high impact exercises.

About Danskin Now Women's Medium Impact Active Sports Bra

This sports bra comes in a number of fashion colors with contrast piping. It runs by bra size and is true to size. The cups are contoured and lightly foam padded and the no bounce support has no wires to poke or bother you. This is a pull on T back style with a keyhole in the back. The fabric is polyester and spandex and it has a CoolMax lining to wick away moisture while you workout. The whole thing stretches to move with you when you exercise and it's lightweight and comfortable.

I bought a black and a navy one and then saw a red one at Wal-Mart and bought that too. They only cost $8.88 which is a real steal for any medium impact sports bra, not to mention one made by Danskin.

This sports bra is really attractive and functional. It's great for low impact aerobics, walking, weight lifting, and other low to medium impact exercise I wouldn't wear it for high impact aerobics or running because it just doesn't have the support a woman needs for such activities. It looks darn good under a hoodie or mesh top too. I don't wear mine out alone when people are around because I am not of the age where walking around in a cropped sports bra is looked upon favorably. I do wear it in my yard though. The neighbors can shut their curtains. :-P

My Viewpoint

The Danskin Now Women's Medium Impact Active Sports Bra
is available at all Wal-Marts and at walmart.com. It may be available at other stores as well. It's a well made, comfy sports bra that doesn't squish you. In fact, it enhances the bust and lets you be a woman when you workout. No uni-boob with this sports bra! It's priced right too! I give it 4 stars. It's a TAD bulkier than non padded sports bras but not enough to make me switch to another sports bra when I workout.

These are great for normal exercise but, if you run, they aren't supportive enough. I wore mine doing some high impact exercise and I ended up holding my hand over my chest!

Thanks for the info--I may try it the next time I'm looking for one.

I'm sure your wife is glad she no longer has to share her lingerie with you. ;)

It really is hard to find comfy things to wear. I like this enough to go out in the yard and hang out without fear of being pointed at and laughed at by my neighbors. Almost. lol.

These are excellent for teens. They come in A-D cups and they really look cute but still give support.

And I'll pass on every trying on a jock strap although I think my thongs feel similar. lol.

Suddenly you don't want to try the stuff I write about? Mike! Be open. Give it a try. You may like it. lol.

Having been around women with sports bras, I'll have to say that this is one good review, but like Mike, I'm not gonna try one out myself, either....

LisaCarey wrote on Jun 22, 2008 at 10:03PM

Sounds great and looks nice enough to not have to save it for sports. I bet it would also be great for my athletic teenager.

Good review but like Mike I will pass on trying it...;)

Nice review, but you'll pardon me if I DON'T try it!
