It has real fruit in it

5

The Dannon Fruit on the Bottom Yogurt is great because it has real fruit in it, and all natural flavoring as well. There is nothing artificial in it which makes it healthier then other inexpensive brands of yogurt. It has a very nice creamy consistency, and the fruit on the bottom makes it very thick when you mix it together. I like that this yogurt has thicker pieces of fruit instead of just that syrupy flavoring that other yogurts have. I would have to say that the lemon flavor is my favorite, but I also like the cherry, and the strawberry banana as well. They all have a great real fruit flavor to them. The only con. that I have it that they have a lot more calories, sugar, and less protein then other yogurts that I have tried. The Dannon Fruit on the Bottom has 150 calories, 24 grams of sugar, and only 6 grams of protein. Flavor/Taste I really enjoy the lemon flavor of the fruit on the bottom, as well as the cherry. All of the fruit on the bottom yogurt flavors have real fruit chunks in them, and only are made with natural flavors. The fact that they have real fruit flavors in them makes them even more delicious. Variety The Dannon Fruit on the Bottom has flavors like peach, blueberry, lemon, strawberry banana, raspberry, mixed berry, cherry, and strawberry. If you don't like fruit flavors or fruit on the bottom Dannon has a variety of other yogurts to choose from. Consistency The Dannon Fruit on the Bottom has a really smooth and creamy consistency. When you mix the fruit in it, it becomes thick in texture. The nice fruity consistency is what adds to the enjoyment of this yogurt. Convenience It's a very convenient snack because it already has the fruit on the bottom, all you have to do is just mix it in. You don't have to add anything else to it, because it's delicious on it's own.

Not my favorite, but okay

I am a big yogurt eater and I enjoy trying new flavors and brands all the time. I was pretty excited to try this Dannon Fruit on the Bottom Yogurt because it sounded good and there were a lot of flavors to choose form. I normally really enjoy Dannon yogurt, but this one was not really my favorite. The consistency of this yogurt was not the best. At first glance, it appears to be pretty thick, but once you mix in the fruit it becomes a little too thin for my taste. This yogurt itself tastes pretty good. I do like that you can control how much of the fruit you want to mix into the yogurt, but the fruit does not always taste too good. In some of the flavors the fruit tasted a little too much like a fruit syrup to me. I love the small chunks in it and wish it had a more natural fruit taste. I still occasionally buy these because I do really enjoy the pineapple flavor, so I would recommend them to others. They are pretty cost friendly and filling.

Rich Taste and Full of Flavor!

The first time I tried Dannon Fruit On the Bottom I was impressed with the amount of real fruit each yogurt cup contains. This is a yogurt that excites me, I love opening the top and having the choice of stirring the yogurt up with the fruit and juices or eating the yogurt first and saving the fruit for last! Either way I decide to eat it, I savor each and every bite. I've tried every flavor from strawberry to pineapple and I love each flavor because it's a good quality yogurt. This yogurt has a thick texture and isn't too sweet. I like that this yogurt contains real pieces of fruit, it's not artificial. My kids call it a surprise cup because they love eating down to the fruit part and think the fruit is a surprise. This yogurt is even better when I add a little granola to it. My family eats yogurt on a regular basis and Dannon Fruit on the Bottom is always a fun treat in my household. It defiantly is one of my top yogurt brands. I love it!

Cheap price, reflected in taste

There are a lot of pros and cons for Dannon Fruit on the Bottom Yogurt - Various Flavors. The pros outweigh the cons, depending on how strongly you feel about the cons. Pros ---The price is better and cheaper for it than most other yogurts; it usually costs less while being a larger size container ---It tends to last longer (does not expire as quickly) ---It is healthier because it has real fruit in it that takes up a lot of the yogurt, instead of just small pieces. This means it has less artificial flavoring as well. Cons ---I usually spill my yogurt because I have to stir up the fruit from the bottom, and I am not always able to get all of it up unless I spill because the cups are filled almost all the way to the top ---It has a bit of a funny aftertaste and a bit of a chalky texture ---The taste itself of the yogurt is not as sweet (which actually probably contributes to it being healthier)

One of my favorite yogurt brands

I really love yogurt with fruit in it, so I think these are great. My absolute favorite is the cherry, it's delicious. It's a good satisfying snack that is creamy but better for you than something like pudding or ice cream. I normally can find a good deal on them at my local grocery store so they are nice and affordable. A great value.

The other way around.

I am a somewhat picky eater and although I like yogurt for the most part, I don't like the consistency of yogurt. Greek Yogurt would be my personal favorite. But, Dannon Fruit on the Bottom Yogurt has become a new addition to my approved foods checklist. In the beginning, I was a bit concerned about the calorie count and amount of sugar in Dannon's yogurt in comparison to a lot of other yogurts. I honestly try to eat well most of the time. Because it has some nutritional value I don't feel too bad about it. Dannon's fruit on the bottom yogurt is really good and tastes better than the majority of similar products. The texture and consistency is the same as other non greek yogurts. It tastes sweet and creamy without leaving any milky after taste. I enjoy the fruit on the bottom but I rarely mix it in with the yogurt. As silly as it might sound, I enjoy it most when I allow it to get somewhat frozen and flip it upside down prior to removing it from the container. It changes things up quite a bit and gives me the feeling of satisfied self indulgence without all the high fat guilt. Out of all of the flavors, I enjoy strawberry and pineapple the most. Dannon has really pulled off a really great product and is steadily holding their ground as one of the best non greek yogurts on the market.

Fruit isn't the best, but good flavor

The fruit on the bottom of these can be hit and miss. The strawberry flavor is really good and the strawberries are really good. The blackberry flavor is not as good and just like the fruit, contains the seeds of the blackberry which do not mix well with yogurt. Try these if you like the fruit idea, some are good, some are not so good.

A high quality delicous yogurt with many flavors

Dannon fruit on the bottom yogurt is a wonderful nutritious yogurt option with many flavors made with actual fruit chunks unlike many other yogurts and made without artificial sweeteners it is even a better option compared to the other brands who have aspartame. I have found this brand to be tastier and to have better nutrition qualities and higher quality ingredients are used in it. There is always a wide new variety of flavors to try!

People always try to warn me that **Dannon Fruit on the Bottom Yogurt**isn't that healthy because they claim it has more sugar than other yogurts.  Well that may or may not be true (I haven't checked) Dannon Fruit on the Bottom is the ONLY yogurt I've tried that has real chunks of fruit in it!  Therefore it wins with me no matter what. **Dannon Fruit on the Bottom has Fruit on the Bottom!**  Yes that is exactly what it means, yogurt on top, fruit on the bottom.  there are multiple ways to enjoy this.  Sometimes I leave the lid on and shake it really hard to mix it, but most the time I just open it, and scoop down to get a bit of fruit in every bite.  It's not just chunks of fruit, but also a bit of juicy flavor down there too. **Dannon Fruit on the Bottom comes in various fruity flavors.**  My favorites include Blueberry, Mixed Berry and Peach.  You can also get the traditional Strawberry and Strawberry Banana as well as a few others.  Each variety has the same yogurt, but the difference is the real fruit on the bottom of the cup. **A 6 oz serving is 99% fat free!**  It's also only 1.5 grams of fat and 140 calories per container.  One container is all I need for a satisfying snack.  Once container is also all I need to add to the blender with some fruit, milk and ice for a delicious creamy shake - usually makes enough to share!  **I've had Yoplait all my life but now I'll never go back.**  After growing up on Yoplait, which has no chunks at all, I'll never give up my Dannon.  People who tell me it's not as healthy as other yogurts are not considering that it's healthier to have Dannon then no yogurt at all!  Besides, I still don't think it's all that unhealthy in the first place.  So grab a few cups and enjoy :)

THE. BEST.

compared to YOPLAIT (original), it has fewer calories per container, AND per oz. dannon: 130calories for 6 ounces yoplait: 170 calories for 6 ounces. one thing i love about it is it's versatility: i can choose to eat it with fruit, or without (to cut calories; and it still tastes amazing--it's slightly sweetened). their variety isn't as creative as yoplait (who has pina colada, strawberry cheescake, chocolate mousse) i feel that they're pretty much level because in my local Jewel, yoplait is cheaper then dannon (used to be other way around), and i don't mind eating the few extra 20 calories since i have such a large variety. but if dannon was the same price as yoplait, i would most likely buy dannon's fruit on the bottom--i don't mind the lack of variety, i like the calorie count, and the versatility of the yogurt. if you're choosing between DANNON's fruit on the bottom v. YOPLAIT (original), you can decide this way: if you like variety/new flavors: yoplait if you'd rather cut calories: dannon's fruit on the bottom
