Dannon Activia Yogurt —
My husband has always had constipation problems - he could go a week or more without crapping. We worry that the constipation may give rise to other health problems (his family has a history of colon problems). A week or so ago we decided to give Activia a try. He's not a big yogurt eater, but he does love smoothies. So every day, I make him a smoothie that consists of frozen fruit, two 4 oz tubs of Activia, a little sugar, and water or Lactaid milk. He's been crapping almost every day - something he doesn't remember ever being able to achieve. So it's pretty clear that the product works, and the active bacteria survives to his gut, even after being blended with frozen fruit.
Activia is sweet for a yogurt, but I believe there's a "Lite" version available. It's also a bit more expensive at $2.50 - $2.99 for four 4 oz tubs. However, medical bills are much more expensive, so I think it's worth it.
