DDR Extreme 2 is one in a rather long list of DDR games. I've played most all of the different versions out there and would say that Extreme 2 is one of my favorites. For myself, I use the game exclusively for my daily exercise. The only downside for me is that unlike the newer DDR games, the Workout Mode for Extreme 2 isn't a mode but rather a setting you can turn on that simply tracks calories in any of the other modes when you dance. However it still is a great way to get your exercise. Now I've done quite a few different forms of exercise and many exercise videos, and while it may seem counterintuitive that a video game gives you a workout, DDR games are the best workout for the amount of time you spend and the number of calories burned. And even after a year of doing DDR as my main workout, I still get a very aerobic workout that burns approximately 550 calories per half hour workout. Extreme 2 also has some great songs you won't find on any of the other DDR games. The majority of them also have a higher BPM, whichs makes them an even better workout. Another great thing is how quickly you can unlock songs. Every few days I get new songs after simply doing a 30 min. workout each day.Overall, I would highly recommend Extreme 2 for a workout or just if you love dancing.
