We wanted a unit that was ample but not too big for a small guest house we have on our farm. This unit is ideal, and the matching price was also very attractive! Since it's not going to be needed for long term storage, and it might not be used every day of the year, it's more than adequate for our needs. It has just enough freezer space for ice cubes, ice cream, a few packages of meats and frozen vegetables. The shelving is more than plentiful for all your other every day needs. Noise Level You hear a click when the thermostat or heating coil goes on. Then there's a hum that you quickly stop noticing. It's not too noticeable unless it's the only sound in your house. Interior Organization Moveable shelves and more than adequate door spacing make this unit ideal for our needs. Temperature Control Easy to use and very responsive. The manual tells you to wait a full 24 hours after any temperature changes, but I found that they take effect quite quickly and stay level. We have a thermometer in both the refrigerator as well as the freezer compartments to make sure it's the right temperature for our needs. Ease of Cleaning No one likes to clean the inside of a frig, right? But at least this unit doesn't have a lot of nooks or crannies. It's pretty smooth and easy to wipe out with a damp rag. Durability I hope it lasts a good decade or so. Design Well thought out design. You get a good deal for what you pay.
