We had some friends visiting from out of town and thought it would be fun to ride the DART train and go to the aquarium. A little on the expensive side for 4 adults and a toddler, so we probably wouldn't head here more than once or twice a year. The exhibits were amazing though. We've never been to an aquarium quite like this one before. You move from one exhibit to the next and they are broken into geographic areas. It's very nice since you basically start 'above water' learning about birds and animals that live in different regions then move to water level then below. My 2-year old son had a blast because he could get close to a lot of the displays and he got to see the baby penguins get fed. It was a bit tight in areas with 2 strollers, but it's easy enough to doubleback when the groups thin out.
