Beautiful renovations make for an adventure.

The Dallas Aquarium was recently renovated and they did an amazing job. When you walk in, the celing is so incredibly high and mimics and safari adventure in my eyes. They added a small bar along the paths, with a sloth on a tree nearby for entertainment. There are TONS of different species of animals, not just fish. There is an entire penguin outdoor exhibit in a neat bridge setting. They even have one of those walk under tunnel aquarium things for a neat picture opportunity. I was dissapointed with their quantity of actual FISH, although they do have several different areas of the world covered. During the weekends its crazy jam packed..almost clausterphobic in there. I suggest going during the week, maybe in the morning. Otherwise, its a slow push through. There is a neat little shop full of great gifts. I wish they had a few cheap ones so all kinds could afford at least a small momento. Its beautiful in there and definitely worth the trip though.
