Dread is a horror movie well sometimes our past seems to haunt us. A group of thug friends who bully people and really treat other like they arent on their level. These men find out that sometimes the bad you plant grows into a huge lot of evil.   All the hate all the evil these men have done , all boils over.

And soon two human like creatures with green and black painted faces come to give these men a lesson in pain. The female Creature is just as mean and bloody as her male comrad.   There is a few cool blood and guts parts. I love the eyeball and penny scene very gory and very scary. All horror fans will scream as you see what the creature does with the penny. Can you say the eyes have it?

There also a hint of sadness with the creatures well at least I kind of saw it that way. The movie comes down to a final last stand the thugs with the creatures, and yes a couple good old boys decide to try help the thugs. Maybe someone should told them mind your own business. Well they soon learn the reason why the creatures are here in the first place. All the hate they done to others are about to be down onto them by these creatures.   I love how the creatures keep walking their slow pace walk, I think a horror film is lot more creepy and scary when the monsters walk slow.

And well these creatures In Dread dont fear nothing infact nothing seems to make them back down as they one by one collect the lives of the thugs.   Yet you soon find out that its not chance or fate that brung these monsters to earth, its a lot more to it then that and the final few minutes of the movie Dread you will see why they were called down to earth.

And sometimes the ones who are meant to love us the most seem to hurt us the most.   Dread is a spooky film really scary film, lot of action in this movie, I love the creepy night parts it gives off a hint of supernatural vibe to the movie, Also a lot of nice camera shots are done perfect in the Dread.   I would tell any horror fan or horror film collector to add the Dread movie to their DVD collection.
