August 14, 2008 I bought a DCS Professional 30" Five Burner Self-Cleaning Gas Range model # RGTC-305 N in September 07.  I've had it almost 1 year.  It is a superior oven, packing 5 burners into 30", except that the infra-red broiler underperforms its browning and searing functions.  I've been told by a DCS engineer that it is a design flaw with the self-cleaning all gas model only,  because the broiler is covered with glass.  If you are considering this model, please be sure to go somewhere to test the broiling performance.  Bring a salmon steak, or a pork chop and see what happens.
