There's no denying for a moment that Night of the Living Dead is a true horror classic. — But this film was a truly shocking (to audiences in 1978), in color, and has a more interesting socio-political subtext. — It's also better acted and has more intentional humor. — The gruesome and still shocking gore is mostly confined to the first and last half hours as a group of people try to keep alive and work out a plan to restart society while hordes of flesh eating zombies attack the cities and in sheer numbers overhwelm the 'normal' population. — So a group of people…

This remake of Dawn of the Dead was very disturbing.Simply put ,an unknown virus from out of nowhere starts contaminating people who turn into flesh eating zombies and spread this virus by biting someone else(normal people).The scariest thing about this movie is the heroes being trapped in the mall ,and the zombies outside waiting for them.There's no hope it seems ,as almost everyone on the outside is a zombie.Could this actually happen in reality?Could the US Government let loose something on us citizens as an experiment? The first ten minutes of this movie are just BAM BAM!! It hits you so fast, you're wondering what happened and how did it get to that everyone is a zombie so fast??? Where did the virus come from and why do they turn so quickly??? Well that little girl was so creepy for 2 whole months afterward, i was just so scared to leave the doors unlocked. I'm such a horror fan, but I get so terrified that sometimes I just can't help but covering my eyes! I really liked this movie, it's just so hopeless and some people are just so lame!!
