The D-Link DIR-601 is a great enry level Wireless Router and provides all features one may wish from a hoe home-ofice network router. It supports 4 Lan ports in adition to the Wireless N connectivity and has a in built firewall.  the admin interface for configuring the routher is easy an i like the wizard based approach for configuring Wireless security (WPA or WEP), keys and the lot. The 150 Mb Wireless N is very fast with my New HP Laptop and the router is also backward compatible with my older wireless G Dell laptop. Noticed no different in internet speeds betwen wireless and my Desktop LAN connection. The Connection with Wireless printer was also a breeze with the auto configure button I got the router on a deal with my comcast internet connection and was free after rebate. The overall performance, ease of setup and range have made this sweet deal sweeter for me. I would deff recoment the router for anyone interested in wireless n/w at home, even first timers who dont consider themselves tech savy.

I'm not a techie, and actually am quite the simpleton when it comes to technology and networking. So this review is for others like myself! This router was actually recommended to us because it would provide what we needed -- no gaming. We actually got this for a really good price too. it is rather simple to set up, since I was able to do it myself without additional help. It's functioning just fine; some reviews I'd read before talked about restarting, but I haven't had any issues like that. We have a good signal all throughout the house. We also haven't had any interfearence issues either. It also came with everything we needed, no additional purchases necessary. Some people think it looks odd, but it's not that bad. The only thing separating this from a sleeker alternative is that antanae that sticks up and quite a bit of cash. Overall, we're really pleased with it, and I hope you found this helpful.
