D-Link has long been a staple of the home networking arena and offers a plethora of affordable products designed with the neophyte in mind. The D-Link DI-624 Wireless (b/g) Router is one of those products, and our community of reviewers loves this no-frills router. One reviewer stated that the router “has been a paragon of reliability for me, and that's something I value.” And another reviewer said of the router that it is a “Good value for the money.” The D-Link DI-624 offers a lot of advanced features including adherence to the 802.11B/G as well as (4) 10/100 Base-T Ethernet ports, DHCP, and uses both WPA and TKIP as well as WEP wireless security protocols. All of our reviewers found the brushed silver D-Link DI-624 an acceptable performer, but one decried the limited wireless range. The DI-624 is the first wireless router I had ever set up for personal use, after having some experience setting up and maintaining a hybrid wireless/wired network for my laboratory using Apple products. That's to say I had some idea of what to expect in terms of set-up and some expectation of performance.

Why do you want to have a dial up when you can have your own wireless router. D-Link provides fast, and reliable service. They have a great customer service team which are very helpful. I have had no problems with this. Owned for one year and its very fast and never loses connection.
