Easy to setup, lots of features, great storage solution!

practical, pc-user, a do-it-yourselfer, attempting to get organized

Pros

easy setup, ftp, works right out of the box, RAID 1 (or other disk options), safe backup, great for media storage

Cons

no integral bittorrent client, a bit expensive

I'm very happy with my DNS-323. I have 2 500gb drives mirrored. Setup was very quick and easy. I use it to store all my files. It's been running about 3 months now, and has never frozen or needed restarting. I store all my media files on the DNS-323 and play them through my media pc (windows XP), or wirelessly on my laptop (Ubuntu system), without any hicccups. I've also used the FTP feature a few times, which is very handy.
