I've had this vacuum for 2 years now and it still works just like new. No loss of suction which I experienced with my last upright bagless. One of the best parts is that the hose actually has a lot of suction and extends pretty far so I don't have to haul the whole vacuum up and down the stairs. The cord is long so I only have to plug it in once for each level of my home. I often switch on the fly while it is running from bare floors to carpet to hose so the ease of use is really great. Dyson Animal dc28 Vacuum
I have a Dyson animal and for the most part it has been a good vacuum. I've had it for about 4 years now and I have noticed that the suction keeps getting less and less. I find myself going over the same spot 3-4 times before it picks up what it's suppose to. It's formulated specifically to help aid in the removal of animal hair. The attachment that it comes with to pick up animal hair is not what I would use it for. I have better luck using the furniture attachment to pick up the animal hair. The attachment for fur is too big and square to get into the little nooks that it needs...
