CyberHome - DVD Recorder Reviews

This will be a very short review as my experience with a WORKING Cyberhome 1600 is very limited. I purchased one in May '05 at my neighborhood Best Buy. — — I tried to transfer footage from my DV Camcorder, but ran into problems right away. The machine must format the DVD+R disc before anything can be done. Fine, but the machine I purchased kept stopping at 99% formatting and would never finish. This is not a quality product!  It never seems to play all the way through a movie with out messing up.  Many times we have to unplug it to restart it because it freezes up!  There are always errors showing.  About the only good things is that the picture is clear and If you do have to stop it and restart, if you put the same DVD right back in, it remembers where you left off on that DVD!  But I would not recommend this particular dvd recorder to… read full review »
