Cutco Knives Reviews

Cutco knives are more hype and less value than any other knife line I know of.  They cost as much as professional quality cutlery and are not professional quality knives.

I collect cutlery and own pieces of most vintage and modern manufactures inlcuding Cutco's large chef's knife, 1725 and their slicer , 1724.  Neither do anything that much less expensive knives don't do just as well or better.

They are well suited for the average wife, and may even impress her if she's never owned or used professional quality knives, but anyone who has and regularly sharpens their own knives, will quickly come...

I love to cook and I appreciate good equipment. These knives make cooking that much more enjoyable for me. They are the best, most useful knives I have ever used or owned. Who needs a food processor when you knives this good!

I just recently purchased a set of Cutco knives and I really love them. I don't know that much about knives but I do enjoy cooking and these knives have worked wonderfully with everything I have used them on. I especially love the 'trimmer' its small size and serrated edge making slicing tricky items (like tomatoes) easy and quick. I also purchased the cheese knife which is, by far, the best one I have ever tried. All the knives are very sharp, comfortable to hold and seem to be very good quality.
