Cutco Knives Review

my oldest brother sold cutco when i was 5 and what i remember most about this time was watching 2 of my other brothers (i have 6 of them) sit and cut pennies with the cutco scissors my mother bought. that was 40 years ago (i dont know how since im only 22 lol) and the pair of scissors used to cut that money is the pair my mom uses today.  since the scissors come apart they are perfect for curling ribbon on gifts and since my mom has 9 kids and a gazillion grandkids and friends those scissors have curled miles and miles of ribbons..and they still cut coins with no problem. i grew up using all the cutco knives and cooking utensils my mom had purchased and 12 years ago my friend at work said she wanted to show me a new product she was selling and showed up at my house  with cutco. i laughed and bought myself a set and i also purchased the scissors i love so much and they are sitting right here as i type this. while my knives are the sharpest tools in my house my husband on the other hand is not..he decided to use  the steak knives to cut pizza with and left the knife in the pizza box..which he threw away the next day..he did this twice..so 2 of my knives are missing before i discover what happened..when i contacted the company to buy replacements i found out they will sharpen anything my mom bought all those years ago for free and replace any damaged items at half price. well there are no damaged items just a set of the best cutlery made. and it is MADE IN AMERICA. if you have the chance to own cutco take it. it is expensive but is something you only need to buy once. the value doesnt go down and you just need to look at ebay to see that.  i can honestly say that out of anything i have reviewed or ever will review cutco is the top product . everyone in my large family owns and uses cutco and we all have my oldest brother ricky to thank for that. you cant top something that has been used almost daily for 40 years and works like it did when it was new.   while some people do not like the company or the marketing that is to me a seperate issue. the actual cutco product is without a doubt the finest made. who hasnt had a problem dealing with a company before? dont let an issue like that stop from you buying the actual product. i have heard all about vector and think about it this way..the company is still here and with all the negative storys about them why is that??because they have the best product made hands down..i cant say anything more about cutco and i cant say enough but i will leave you with this..if my house caught on fire after grabbing my family, my pets, and the box of important papers i will grab my cutco set of knives and my scissors..so if you see a homeless family with 2 dogs a cat and a set of knives wave because that will be me
