A dog that was abandoned came to me and is fear aggressive at times but is also somewhat resource aggressive. He was placed with a trainer who is highly recommended. After 4 weeks and 8 weeks, this trainer wanted to put the dog to sleep. When I was able to get him back we went to visit Curtis for an assessment. Rocky took to Curtis right away. He is able to get through to Rocky and teach him how to be a dog. Curtis said he only needs 2 weeks of training when the other person said 6 months at least. He is very intuitive and gives the dog his all. I highly recommend Curtis Scott.

Curtis Scott has been working with us and our dogs for the past 6 months.  After working with another trainer for a year, who told us our dogs were dangerous.  Our dogs were a mess from the domineering & harsh training techniques used & they became increasingly nervous and aggressive. He recommended we put one of our dogs down. Fortunately, someone at PAWS Chicago gave us Curtis's name and he immediately offered to meet with us to assess our situation.  Curtis is AMAZING!!  He met with us and our "problem" dog, Gilbert, first - allowing him to meet with 6 of his own dogs. Curtis took the time to explain the interactions between the dogs.  Within an hour we had a better understanding of our dog than we had in over a year with the other trainer & over 15 years of dog ownership.   Curtis has helped us learn to be good pack leaders and has helped integrate our eclectic (& large) pack of dogs. he comes to the house to work with us where we need it, and is available to answer questions or give advise via phone or email when needed.   You won't find a more experienced and effective dog trainer in Chicagoland or the suburbs, and his rates are more than affordable - very nice on the budget.  His classes are also AWESOME!  It is an amazing positive experience for your best friend and for you!    I highly recommend Curtis & Unleashed Day Care to every dog owner, whether you have a rescue dog who is having a hard time adjusting, a dog with aggression issues, or if you just want to understand your dog better and have a better relationship between the dogs and humans in your home.  He is the best there is in my opinion (& that of my dogs) when it comes to understanding dog behavior and enhancing the Human and Dog relationship!
