I received a sample of Curel Itch defense in the mail this afternoon. I swear by Curel as a lotion, but didn't like this one as much. I'm sure over a period of time, maybe a few days or so, it helps with itching, but I don't think the moisture level is there. It isn't greasy and absorbs right into your skin, but I don't feel that refreshed quenching that lasts all day like I do with their regular dry skin lotion. This is different. I had never tried Curel skin care before until I receive a sample. I tried it and I was very pleased. I was extremely surprise at the moisturizing effect of this product. Curel Itch Defense Moisturizing lotion even moisturizes the heels of your feet that tend to dry and crack. I definitely will recommend this product and I will for sure buy again. It really does moisturize and instantly relieves dry itchy skin.
I received this lotion as a free sample and was completely disapointed. After all the hype of this product it was gross, really waxy and greasy feeling. The feeling of this lotion was so waxy that I had to immediately was it off of my hands after putting it on my legs. Then it took everything in me not to wash it off of my legs. Bleh !!!!
The dry winter weather combined with the water pill that I have to take dries my skin so bad. I have not been able to find anything to help with my dry itchy skin until I used Curel. I love it.
