Cumberland Swan 70% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol is a first aid antiseptic. This is for external use only and is not grain or ethyl alcohol. What I like about Cumberland Swan's Rubbing Alcohol: - It's readily available in many stores - It's reasonably priced - It can clean a variety of scrapes, minor wounds, and even a dog's ears What I don't like about Cumberland Swan's Rubbing Alcohol: - It is not intended to be used on deep wounds or serious injuries or burns - It isn't very convenient for traveling - alcohol wipes work better for that - It can sting when applied - It is highly flammable **My Viewpoint:** Cumberland Swan Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol can clean minor wounds to help prevent infection. This product is readily available in many stores and is fairly reasonably priced, but it seems to me that the price increased recently. I tend to prefer using peroxide to clean wounds, but I have used alcohol with success as well.
